the longer the wait the more art?

now i do a bit of browsing on random blogs, and im always amazed and inspired by what people are posting. but the one thing i find very amusing about this whole world... its that the most common thing i see is the phrase, "sorry for the lack of posts, ive been busy lately, and i promise to post soon!" now i know im guilty of this too and i suppose if i did less browsing blogs and more drawings i wouldnt be a hippocrite right now...just a thought.

...anyway i usually try to post at least once a week...and if youll notice my last post was two weeks ago, so to remedy this i have twice the post for you! hooray!

in the old times, it was not a crime

i think im begining to enjoy this stuff, not to mention how much i wish i could grow a mustache like this guy. if only i could, i would finally be able to compete in the world mustache and beard competitions. for now ill just have to dream and paint more folks from the olden days with righteous mustaches.

but probably as far as its ever going to get... i like trying new and different things, and im not really all about guns, but i do really enjoy monochromatic colour schemes. other than that, its the same as the last one. speedy painting seems to get me not too worried about the outcome. seems when i don't care, i surprise myself.

it wasnt my intention to do this kind of excersize, but i came upon a picture of this little boy and i decided to paint him, and fast! no, not really, i just had a lot of other work to do and while i was having fun painting this i needed to move on. as to why this isnt really finished or good, but i thought id post it anyway.
